How it Works

The PDT+ system is a three-part kit designed to correct the negative effects of Peyronie's Disease from the comfort of your own home. By targeting the scar tissue that forms following trauma to the penis, this system can rehabilitate the penile tissue and reduce curvature in 76% of patients.

The Mini-Physionizer

A process called "Iontophoresis" delivers medication through the skin using the concept of Electro-Motive Drug Administration (EMDA). Using this protocol, electrical charges from a small, simple current generator -- called the Mini-Physionizer -- drive the medication into the scar tissue.

Results from published American Urological Association studies have shown that after 24 treatments of 20 minutes in length, 76% of men treated with EMDA / Verapamil have obtained a significant decrease in their penile curvature . Within that group, 14% of the men obtained a complete straightening of their penis, while 62% achieved measurable results.
 This is currently the best, non-invasive treatment of Peyronie's Disease.

Supplies & Medication for 24 Treatments

The EMDA protocol requires medication for 24 treatments to be successful, all of which is included in the PDT+ system. This medication targets the scar tissue directly, shrinking and softening it so that the penis can regain it's normal shape.

The SomaCorrect Device

Most men will complain of loss of penile length and girth with the onset of the curvature. This is due to the contracture of the scar tissue involved in Peyronie's Disease. 

Once the scar tissue had been softened by the EDMA/Verapamil treatments, patients begin a program of molding and stretching the penis back to its original form. After the 10th EDMA/ Verapamil treatment, patients are instructed to begin using the SomaCorrect Device. 

We do not recommend that you use a SomaCorrect Device prior to softening the scar tissue as you may cause additional damage that leads to even more scar tissue to be deposited. This "physical therapy for the penis" is continued for a period of 6 to 9 months.
